We are returning to Guatemala on September 1st.  Please join us.

Lighthouse Medical Missions travelled to Central America for our third medical mission trip in October 2016. The team traveled out of Guatemala City to Coban in the central highlands over 130 miles away. Our team was small, only 14 members including two doctors, four nurses and three students. We were small but mighty and able to treat nearly 5,000! people.

Coban was settled by Germans in the 1800’s who developed coffee plantations. The Alta Verapaz region is known for Rainforest Coban coffee. Many indigent farm workers live there as this region is know for its’ coffee plantations.  Our next team leaves for Coban, on September 1st. The medical teams to Guatemala are partially funded by the annual Los Angeles Marathon RunS..our team is Go Go Guatemala.  Please join our email list to received notices about the run and sponsoring our team.
